Yesterday I visited an opposition camp in Novosibirsk. There are quite a lot of people in the square for this city - more than 50 people. The audience is very active: the guys communicate, give lectures, sing songs and discuss what will happen next. But the difference between this camp and others is that people in it are looking for priority tasks for the opposition. They are especially interested in the possibility of forming a new government, and most importantly - the development of local self-government. We decided that A Just Russia would become a civil platform for uniting activists to solve problems and tasks at all levels.
I would like to pay special attention to communicating with deputies of the local legislative assembly Kubanov and Umerbaev about the essence of contemporary art in connection with the ban on Marat Gelman’s exhibition. After this, during the debate on Channel 49, it was possible to reach an agreement with the organizers of the exhibition that it would take place. Gelman confirmed this. The timing and format are still unclear, but the fact remains that the exhibition will take place.
In addition, the guys made their own website , where the prospects for the civil movement in Novosibirsk are discussed in the future and many issues are resolved.
However, there were some incidents. Former senator from Novosibirsk Alexey Manannikov was detained. The police reported that he was wanted and took him to the police station.
