Al-Qaeda admitted in a terrorist attack in Yemen

A source in Al-Qaeda informed BBC that an explosion at the Presidential Palace in Yemen was carried out by a militant of this terrorist organization.

It is reported that the suicide bomber was dressed in military uniform, and the explosives were hidden under his uniform.

According to the latest data, 96 people became victims of the attack, 300 people were injured, AFP reports with reference to doctors and the military. The victims were delivered to seven hospitals of the capital of Yemen Sana. Major workers emphasize that all those killed and injured were military personnel.

Recall that the explosion occurred at the moment when the soldier’s battalion rehearsed the parade in honor of the 22nd anniversary of the unification of the northern and southern part of Yemen, which was supposed to be held on Tuesday.
