A labor dispute over sexuality has flared up in America: an employee was fired for having large breasts and provocative clothing. In Russia, the work dress code is practically not observed, Kommersant FM’s interlocutors say, but controversial situations often arise due to provocative outfits.

She suffered from her own beauty. A New Jersey woman was fired for being too sexual. 29-year-old Lauren Odz worked at Native, a company that sold lingerie. Her responsibilities included working in the warehouse and delivering samples to customers. According to the girl, employers were embarrassed by her large breasts and provocative outfits.

“When employers asked me to tighten my breasts to make them appear smaller, I asked: “Are you kidding me?” Then they asked me to wear a red robe over my clothes to cover up my too revealing dress. Colleagues laughed at me. It was all just terrible. I love fashion, I will always love it, I believe that no woman should be treated the way I was treated. We should not be judged by our breast size and shape,” said Lauren Odz.

Lauren Odz also stated that the reason for her dismissal could be that her employers are Orthodox Jews. "Kommersant FM" decided to address Russian businessmen with a question about how they feel about the appearance of their employees.

Sergei Vikulin, owner of the Roskini company: “I recently had the same situation in my company, when I severely reprimanded the executive director for the fact that a number of office employees take liberties in clothing: dresses with a deep neckline, the length of skirts, and so on. . In September 2005, at the request of the Roman Catholic Church, religion teacher Caterina Bonci was fired from one of the Italian schools. According to the woman, church authorities decided that she was too beautiful and, moreover, dressed too sexy to teach religion.

In June 2010, Debralia Lorenzana was fired from Citibank's New York branch. The organization's management motivated this by the fact that the girl looked overly sexy and thereby distracted her colleagues.

In February 2012, a scandal over excessive sexuality broke out in the Italian town of Bagnolo Mella. Local residents accused bartender Laura Magee of wearing too revealing outfits and thereby attracting dozens of men to the establishment. Angry Italian women demanded that Magi be expelled from the city, but local authorities said that a woman has the right to use her beauty, and men are to blame for the current situation.
