The elections of the Krasnoyarsk mayor scheduled for June 10 is a planned event, but no one assumed that they would pass without an obvious leader. In December 2011, Peter Pimashkov, who led Krasnoyarsk since 1996, went to the State Duma in the party lists of United Russia. And almost until the end of April, a candidate from the party in power for this post remained in question. As a result, United Russia relied on the head of the regional government, ex-official of the city hall, now the acting Mayor Edham Akbulatov. A good functionary, an official and manager, but to this day a person is not public. However, he has already begun personnel permits in the city administration, and observers believe that this will increase his chances.
"Bykov supported"
The much more important issue of this, like many other election campaigns in Krasnoyarsk, was different: "Bulls are there or not?" Anatoly Bykov, now an ordinary deputy of the regional parliament and businessman, is still widely known far beyond the borders of Krasnoyarsk. In the late 90s, he was the actual owner of the region, the “aluminum king of Russia”, but after he tried to actively play politics, a series of criminal cases followed-as a result of bulls, he lost control over almost all his economic assets. Nevertheless, this is only the formal side of the matter, and how it is in reality, none of the interested parties will openly tell. In any case, Tolya is a bull, or just Petrovich, is not just a brand, but one of the most significant factors in regional politics. Suffice it to say that he wins the election to the Legislative Assembly in his constituency Krasnoyarsk by such a margin that the functionaries of United Russia bit their elbows. Once Bykov was given to get to the City Council of Krasnoyarsk, and the block “with Vera and Nadezhda” by him in 2004 took first place among the lists, even ahead of the Pimashkov block. The authorities did not repeat more such mistakes, and Bykov himself moved away from the active political career. On mutually beneficial conditions. But he could not miss the 2012 elections: he himself did not go, but supported the independent candidate, director of the regional hospital of wars of the wars of Alexei Podkorytov. This candidate, however, in December 2011, ran for the regional legislative assembly on the list of “United Russia”, but who is now looking at such trifles. In the ballot, even the surname "subcory" is not very important, it is important that "Bykov supported."

10 without a cat
In total, 24 people and one toy cat was notified of the Running to the Cares to the Cares to the Running. Four of them passed the “selection” of the election commission automatically, like representatives of parties. Another 11 provided the collected signatures, only seven were registered. The final list of applicants after the first stage of the campaign was 11 people. But the ex-deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly Vladislav Korolev removed the candidacy and called on his supporters to vote for businessman Konstantin Senchenko.
It is known that Senchenko used to be in the “right business” and actively supported Mikhail Prokhorov when he headed the party. So the rumors that the businessman leads not only to his own expense, but also the money of the former head of Norilsk Nickel seem quite fair. Prokhorov’s support can become a very significant factor: his popularity in the region is high - in the president’s elections in March, he gained 8.4%, and in Krasnoyarsk even 12.4%. In addition, Prokhorov has repeatedly stated that he was interested in the results of the Krasnoyarsk elections.

| Even a plush cat tried to run to the mayors of Krasnoyarsk ... |
In addition to Senchenko, two more people are competition for candidates from EP and Bykov. Firstly, the Candidate from the Communist Party, also a businessman, Mikhail Oakolkov, who intended to participate in the elections as a self-nominated person, but the Communist Party almost immediately offered him support, and he accepted it. In addition to the Communists, Local "Solidarity" is conducting agitation for Oskolkov. The Candidate of the Communist Party of the Communist Party even went to Moscow for a couple of days, was photographed at the monument to Abai with Ilya Yashin, after which the press service immediately stated that the issue with a single opposition candidate was resolved.
In almost the same scenario, businessman Alexander Koropachinsky was nominated. He handed over the EP party card, submitted documents to the election officer as an independent candidate, but then he “changed his mind” and submitted it again, but already as a just -Ross. They say that Koropachinsky is much more wealthy than fragments or Senchenko. In any case, in terms of the number of outdoor advertising and other costs, it already takes first place.
The remaining candidates can easily be considered “technical”.

The former mayor of Krasnoyarsk loved the fountains - by their number a city where minus temperatures from October to May reached one of the first places in Russia

Democracy is coming
The official campaign in the media started just a few days ago. A little earlier, candidates began the spread of campaign and outdoor advertising. So far nothing remarkable. The Candidate of the Communist Party traditionally complained that he was banned by rental of campaign clips in municipal transport, a self-nominated Eser suffered from unknown posters that have spoiled his posters, stuck on the streets. On a large scale, wars on the Internet are held. Each candidate from a leading five already has at least one fake account somewhere on social networks, and the candidate from United Russia has four fake “official” sites. Personal pages are hacked by local bloggers, a media party talks about who could be, pointing with his fingers at each other. But everyone understands: the mayor’s election is nothing more than a promotion to the elections of deputies of the City Council of Krasnoyarsk, which will be held in 2013. And there, there will be even more democracies and party wars ... Now the former mayor Petr Pimashkov has almost not climbed into politics and earned a reputation as a strong business executive. However, he won the elections “for a clear advantage” - in 2008, for example, easily gained 70% of the vote. Under him, a mini-copy of the Paris triumphal arch appeared in the city, a turret appeared on the city hall, elusively reminiscent of the London Big Ben. And he also loved the fountains - according to their number of Krasnoyarsk, where minus temperatures from October to May reached one of the first places in Russia. The main reason for leaving for Moscow is said to become quite banal "tired, leaving." But Pimashkova brought the “fatigue” to Krasnoyarsk and a large electoral intrigue and a big policy.
