Days of Chechen Culture in Kyiv
Today in Kyiv a festival of Chechen culture, art and literature was held. Events were timed to the Day of the Chechen Republic in Ukraine. The guests were accepted by the National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation "Ukrainian House". Kyiv visited an impressive delegation from Chechnya: acting Minister for National Policy, Press and Information Adan Nagaev, acting Minister of Culture Dikalu Muzakaev, acting Minister of Education and Science Anzor Muzayev, press secretary of the head of the Chechen Republic Alvi Karimov, as well as the mayor of the Terrible Muslim Khuchiev, chairman of the Union of Writers Kant Ibrahimov. This is not the first “Chechen landing” - in April this year, the days of Chechen culture in Ukraine were already passed.
It should be noted that the beginning of the series of events was laid by yesterday's conference “Chechnya through the eyes of Ukrainians”, which took place at the same National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation “Ukrainian House”. The meeting was attended by the director of the Institute of Literature. T.G. Shevchenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Nikolai Zhulinsky, head of the Department of the Institute of Geography of Ukraine Sergey Lisovsky, General Director of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine Sergey Tchaikovsky, and. O. Minister of Education and Science of Chechnya A. Muzaev and a number of other figures of science and culture. The event was held with the active assistance of the Public Organization “Diaspora of the Chechen People”, which became one of the initiators of the festival. The conference, which lasted more than two hours, began with the topic of traditions and national self -identification in modern conditions, proposals were expressed to preserve the traditions of the Ukrainian and Chechen peoples.
The intentions were also expressed to sign a cooperation agreement between Kyiv and Terrible in the field of culture. “I have an apple, and my Chechen friend is a pear. If we exchange, then I will have a pear, it has an apple. But if we exchange songs, we will double, because we now have two songs for each. Let the fruits only multiply in our cooperation, ” Y. Bogutsky, Minister of Culture of Ukraine, described the decision on cooperation in the field of culture. At the end of the conference, participants and visitors in the foyer of the Center, an exhibition of painting of Chechen artists and three thematic photo exhibitions was demonstrated: “Grozny: Past and present”, “People”, “Nature of the North Caucasus”. What caused not fake interest.
A day earlier, M. Zurabov met with the Chechen delegation, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, which noted the positiveness of such contacts outside Chechen, characterizing them as contributing to the "establishing of the Friendship and Ukraine bridges": http://bit.ly/kiitbf .
During the meeting, he also said: “This year a number of joint events are planned. A similar event will take place in Dnepropetrovsk. In Nizhny Novgorod this year, the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov and President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych will meet. Today we welcome the first swallow - the arrival of the Chechen delegation. We hope that the contacts of Ukraine and the Chechen Republic are only intensified. ”
The People’s Deputy of Ukraine Igor Badoy expressed admiration for the pace of development of the Czech Republic, noted the personal contribution of R. Kadyrov: “We see a real miracle, observing how, under the leadership of R. Kadyrov, they are revived from the ash of the city of Chechnya, its culture. Economics is not the same indicator of friendship between peoples. The Ukrainian and Chechen peoples are famous for their song. Nothing holds friendship as joint singing. Therefore, we will be happy to see the concert and listen to the songs of Ukrainian and Chechen performers. ”
During these events, the adviser to the President of Ukraine Anna German said the following: “When I watched the exhibition, I realized that in the Chechen Republic there is peace and development. We always waited for news from Chechnya. And now we see that Grozny is flourishing, people also live and develop here. ” The Chechen side was awarded gifts by A.
