What can you find on the Internet? Once again, it didn’t take long for the manifestation of Caucasian phobia to appear in Chelyabinsk. It would seem that the bodies called upon to protect, in this case the Ministry of Internal Affairs, should show the best professional qualities. But since we are talking about the “legendary” Chelyabinsk, a certain biased idea of human rights, unfortunately, exists among local law enforcement officers. Otherwise, such an incident in their difficult work would not have seen the light of day. We are talking about a letter from the head of police department No. 5, Yu. Penzina, to the director of Lyceum No. 31, A. Popov, asking him to provide the department with data on “persons of Caucasian nationality.”

“From the cradle, he’s already a bandit,” I remember the expression of one soldier who, for 50 rubles at the federal checkpoint “Caucasus,” allowed cars going both to Chechnya and back. And for 100 rubles, even “bring an atomic bomb!” - also from his “aphorisms”. I remember how I didn’t give him ...(10!) rubles, so he gave me a bad rap that it came back to haunt me later. Well, that's another story.

The liberal and nationalist environment on the Internet is as always with a bang! will perceive the actions of the police. Well, of course, because they work for the benefit of the residents’ peace of mind. God forbid, some Caucasian does something bad... The main thing is that it’s not “one of our own”, but “black”. Everyday nationalism is already kindergarten in comparison with the increasingly popular fascist ideology. Only the lazy will not kick the “Caucasian theme”, and those who need an online rating will throw something like that. It doesn’t matter what actually happened, the main thing is in the most frank tones, and then you’ll see that the popularity among a certain part of the network users will rise. But here’s the thing - the human psyche, of course, is very susceptible to everything, but at the climax it will not be able to perceive the human. It will already be commonplace to shoot someone, hang someone - it all starts with stereotypes and propaganda.
Maybe normal people will give up on this, as a reaction to a barrage of negativity, wanting to close themselves off from it. But such a policy of not resisting evil will sooner or later come knocking on the door of ordinary citizens not infected with fascism. An atrophied consciousness is a transitional product of growing nationalism in the country. A small part of society is radicalizing against the backdrop of the apathy of the majority. “Sawing the branch you’re sitting on” is the skill of fools, it’s better not to be like them.
Reading the comments, I come to the conclusion that some online readers do not have an allergic reaction to chauvinism. It is not even their number that is alarming, but the essence of their writings. Do they really believe that if there is no “Caucasian issue” that they have exaggerated, then they will not receive their own “shtetl issues”? The hatred that unites has a habit of returning a hundredfold to its bearers.
It's not all bad after all. According to the website “ www.uralpress.ru ”, the press service of the city Ministry of Internal Affairs “deciphered” the chief’s actions in a unique way: “The head of the juvenile affairs department of police department No. 5, Yulia Penzina, incorrectly formulated her request. In general, we constantly hold events to prevent delinquency and crimes committed by teenagers. This is especially true on the eve of the summer holidays. Our employees go to schools and conduct classes there, which explain how to act in critical situations and what punishment those who have committed an offense may face.” A mixture of a cynical attempt to shield your employee with all his efforts and an open admission of a complete mistake. This can only be said by a representative of a rigidly structured system, where the law is sometimes, “whatever you blow, where you blow it, it comes out.”
Taking this opportunity, I express my sincere respect to that Chelyabinsk director who did not allow chauvinism to be legitimized in a single school.
