Power's nightmare

Do you know what is the worst thing for the current government? No, not accusations and insults. Not demonstrations and pickets. And not even Nemtsov and Udaltsov. The worst thing is the unification of people with different political views (and without them) against it.

The first signal was the Duma elections. The slogan “Vote for anyone except United Russia” turned out to be effective, it took away a lot of votes from the party in power and spoiled a lot of official blood.

The second bell is Astrakhan. For the first time, people from many regions of Russia gathered to participate in a regional provincial protest. There were more Astrakhan residents, but that’s not the point. The important thing is that people responded. In their worst nightmare, officials could not have dreamed that members of Solidarity, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Socialist Republic and other parties and movements would come together against it. And with them are non-partisans. it came out loud, strong and effective.

And here's another one. But it’s no longer a ringing bell—it’s a ringing bell: “In the Timashevsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, opposition parties united and nominated a single candidate for the election of the head of the municipality.” In my opinion, it doesn’t matter whether this candidate wins. The precedent is important. The next stage will be the election of the governor of one of the regions.

Officials are unable to split up the protest. The stories about Washington cookies are funny and unconvincing. The protest unites, expands and reaches a completely different level. He is joined by those who just yesterday said: “Nothing will work out!”
