Breivik refuses to appeal

Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, on trial for killing 77 people in a double attack last year, said he would not appeal his conviction if a court in Oslo found him sane and convicted him, the BBC reported on Thursday .

It is important for the defendant to prove that what he did was the result of a logical scheme he constructed, and not of mental deviations.

The trial of the terrorist began in April. Breivik is accused of killing 77 people in two terrorist attacks last July. The Norwegian admits that he committed mass murder, but does not blame himself for it.
