In recent years, it is suspiciously often (more and more often) that we have to contrast law, human, natural, with law and order.
In the modern world, in some countries to a greater extent, in others to a superlative degree, law has long been fooled and replaced by law. People who are ready to take a little time away from their families and exercise at least attempts at public control over the observance of our natural rights are labeled extremists and radicals.
Officials, in their sophisticated race to dissolve the concept of law in the sacred word “law”, have ensured that more and more citizens do not see their rights outside of opposition to the law.
And now - about the terrible thing. In most heads, I want to believe, there is no justification for violence against anyone unless it is aimed at protecting basic human rights: protecting life, children, freedom. And the more the ideas about right and law are distanced in these heads, the more confidently people will justify the violence of those who defend the right against the defenders of the law.
When the number of our fellow citizens apologizing violence against illegal laws and their representatives reaches a critical number, we will have the most fertile ground for a civil war.
I am sure that our country has another two or three years of peace. This is exactly how long it takes for every family, every team to have a friend, relative, acquaintance who has suffered from the law. Soon those who justify violence for the good of Man will not allow apartments to be handed over to riot police, they will not offend a neighbor, they will not be afraid to give change to the police. Because they will know: tens of millions will support and justify them. There will be no fear when the fight against the ruling regime turns into a fight for natural rights.
Remember me in a couple of years. People in Russia will take to the streets, and the last thing they will want to hear is about the law. They will demand a renewed institution of lawmaking. And so - all over the world. Millions of protests will sweep away illegal laws and their guarantors. If a different, more responsible attitude towards the law appears in society, the need for fundamentally different guarantors of rights and freedoms will arise.
Everything will change, and much faster than we want it to. The crowd act spontaneously. A hundred thousand are capable of elected governors, a thousand thousand are capable of changing the political system.
