In addition, de Zeger is the art director of the 2012 Sydney Biennale and the curator of the Australian pavilion at the 2013 Venice Art Biennale.
The rivals of De Zeger were five world -famous specialists, and her candidate on the recommendation of members of the expert council of the Moscow Biennale approved the Ministry of Culture.
The fifth Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art will be held in September-October 2013 with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow. The commissar and artistic director of Biennale, as in the past years, is Joseph Bakstein.
