"Each of us thought: did he do everything to prevent the death of the child?" The “Winzavod” was held by the “not childish” exhibition of the Liza Alert search detachment. In September, the detachment will celebrate only the second birthday, but during this time, volunteers managed to involve hundreds of people throughout the country in the search for children.
“I was six years old. I have an older sister Masha. She also has a real husband. I really like him. We are often in the country. Last summer I was lost there ” - this is how Dasha Sotnikova’s story begins. Dasha was lucky, they managed to find her: “I reached the very swamp, it became dark, I got wet. I was very tired and decided that I would lie right there. It was cold and wet, but I dreamed of dreams. As if forest elves found me. They wrapped me in something warm and carried me in their arms. I could not wake up to answer them, although I tried very hard to say. I wanted to say that I love tea with jam. I woke up at home. Nearby were mom and dad, and Misha, and many more strangers. They said they found me. I was so glad that I was again with my mother, I will never leave her again. ”
Unfortunately, not everyone is found: according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 142 children have disappeared and have not been found in Moscow over the past 15 years. In 2011, there were 64.5 thousand missing people in the country, of which 21 thousand were minors.

The exhibition "Not childish" opened on May 25 on the International Day of Remembrance of the missing children. Until 2012, this date was preferred not to notice this date. 33 years ago, on May 25, 1979, in New York went to school and six-year-old Ethan Paitz disappeared. His disappearance caused the widest public outcry: the city was hung with portraits of the boy, the so -called dairy campaign unfolded, when manufacturers began to print photos of the missing on milk packages. Four years later, in 1983, President Ronald Reagan announced on May 25 the day of memory of missing children, in 2001 the Council of Europe began to celebrate this day. Only at the beginning of 2012, the media reported that the killer of Itan Paitz was finally found.
In Russia, the search for missing children in the media attention was only recently and, largely by the efforts of activists of the Liza Alert detachment. The detachment is named by the name of Lisa Fomkina, a five-year-old girl who disappeared with aunt in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow Region on September 13, 2010. In fact, no one was engaged in the first five days by searching for people who have lost in the forest. After they wrote about the incident on one of the Internet forums, dozens of volunteers went in search: “I myself had a daughter shortly before, and I simply could not help but respond to this call,” says the detachment coordinator Grigory Sergeyev. They could not save Lisa: on the ninth day after the loss, she died from hypothermia, the girl’s body was found in a day. That is, start the search a couple of days earlier - and the salvation of the child would be possible.
Stories specially selected different, explained Grigory Sergeyev, each visitor had to understand that often specifically could depend on him - the lost child would remain, or, what their calls are called, loss, alive or perish. For the efforts of the search engines, the history of Lisa Fomkina has learned millions over the years, and the whole country already followed the search for a 9-month-old Anya Kab from this year in Bryansk in March this year: the girl, as it turned out, was killed by her own parents, staging the abduction.

Sometimes they are
But it often happens that the lost can be found in time. 17-year-old Roma Yudanov suffers from autism, in November 2011 he ran away during a walk from a nanny who could not catch up with him, as he was busy with his younger sister. “At five or six in the morning, a comrade called me, explained what happened. We flew over the forest for two and a half hours. This is the trouble when a person is lost. How could I sleep? " - says Mikhail Farikh, a member of the Iskra Helicopter club, who took part in search of a teenager. Yudanov, in the end, himself went to people - to the police post, who took him to the hospital.
When the detachment has not yet formed, in June 2010, Sasha Kononov disappeared in Chernogolovka, at that time he was 4.5 years old. The boy spent three nights in the forest, he was found by the efforts of volunteers. “It is important that our people are not indifferent, indifferent to, ready to help, knowing that a child is in the forest. One. At night. I'm with them now too, ”says Papa Sasha Maxim Filatov.
For two years of work, the guys from Liza Alert found more than a hundred people. By the end of the year, the “two hundredth found” will appear in the history of the detachment. Among them are not only lost children. This is both adults who are deliberately taking off from their parents, and adults suffering from various diseases, who cannot find their way home on their own - more and more people are lost in the forest on the onset of summer. Volunteers insist: in Russia, the attitude to lost people should change, and gradually the Ministry of Emergencies and the police begin to respond to the requirements of search engines to start searching for children immediately, and not wait several days. They are waiting for the attitude to the search not only among officials, but also among those hundreds of people who managed to visit the exhibition. In the end, each of them, reading the next message about the loss, should ask the question: "Did I do everything to prevent the death of the child?"
