Medvedev promised to ask God for forgiveness

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev does not forgive falsehood and betrayal, considers perseverance to his main feature and will certainly ask God for forgiveness for his actions. He stated this in an interview with Vladimir Pozner during the program "Time".

As his main positive quality, Medvedev called perseverance, but noted that sometimes he is inherent in excessive rigidity in relations with people. “It is difficult to discuss your weaknesses, but, probably, it is still sometimes excessive rigidity in the answers to the questions that my colleagues ask me,” Interfax quotes the official. In people, he appreciates most honesty and fidelity.

Of the shortcomings, the prime minister easily forgives “the desire to eat more than necessary, gluttony”, and considers lie and betrayal unforgivable. At the same time, Medvedev noted that he himself is trying to always tell the truth, RIA Novosti reports.

As his favorite writers, the prime minister called Anton Chekhov, Fedor Dostoevsky and Vladimir Nabokov. Peter Tchaikovsky recognized his favorite composer.

Speaking of the Russian Orthodox Church, the prime minister noted that he does not notice the "penetration of the church into the life of society." According to him, he knows like no other that the Russian Orthodox Church is separated from decision -making.

To the last traditional question of the presenter, what he will say when he appears before God, Medvedev replied: "I am a believer, I will ask him for forgiveness for everything that I did."
