Photo: from personal archive The promising popular and influential political leader is called Vladimir Egorkin. Such a conclusion is contained in the report of the Center for Strategic Development on the Routes of Political Development of Russia made by order of the Kudrinsky Committee of Civil Initiatives. Among other things, the analysts of the Center investigated the potential of political leaders of different levels, whose video features were offered to evaluate 12 focus groups.
Among the more or less known names of federal and regional politicians, between Alexei Navalny and Vladimir Medinsky (who was not yet appointed Minister of Culture during the study), Vladimir Mikhailovich Egorkin was named. In the report, he is presented as the “Head of the Public Movement”, Mr. Chernogolovka. Based on the results of one of the focus groups, Egorkin lagged behind only Alexei Navalny-and far by the “popularity” of all other proposed politicians in the “nominations” the president, governor and mayor of the city.
We tried to find out what kind of person these are the Russians surveyed by the Presidential candidate. It turned out that it is not so simple to find out. A public politician and public figure Vladimir Egorkin does not exist. All references to him on the Internet are contained in the report itself and in several interviews of the head of the Central Administrative District Mikhail Dmitriev. Of these, we learned that Egorkin is 33 years old. "Egorkin was until recently the head of the strategic department of the United Aviation Corporation. But the UAC is a stagnant place. And he quit from there. And he went to politics. He spends his money on rallying people in Chernogolovka," this is how Mikhail Dmitriev’s policy of the new formation. The mentioned site does not yet exist, and the existence of the "Development" movement on the network is also known only from the report.
According to Dmitriev , Egorkin "speaks intelligibly, convincingly. He does not tolerate slopes, demagogy. Everything is very specifically and aimed at the result." Egorkin agreed to talk with Publicpost only if the text is agreed. The video recorded specifically for the study of the CSR by the performance of Egorkin refused to provide us. The text of the interview given below is in the editorial office of Vladimir Egorkin.
- What do you think of your sudden popularity?
- I do not consider myself popular. Do not literally perceive the results of a sociological study conducted by the CSR. It seems to me that we managed to correctly reflect what the majority wants today. In short: it is tired of words. We are talking about democracy, about corruption, we are talking correctly, but it's time to move on to specific actions.
- How did you get into this report?
-Mikhail Dmitriev (president of the Center for Strategic Development) suggested that I record a video show with theses about the club to use it in focus groups, and I agreed.
- Why is there neither a word about you either in Google or in Yandex?
- The development of our Internet portal is now at the final stage. Just a month later, it will be open and it will be possible not only to get comprehensive information about the club itself, but also to take part in its work.
- What is your club exactly called and for whom it is?
- Club "Development". This is a club for those who are not indifferent to the future of their country and who are ready to go to business from words. These are people who have specific proposals to improve life in their city, in their professional industry, in their country and they want to realize them.
- Is it more specific?
- Over the past twenty years, the country has changed a lot. In the 90s, we waited and believed in democracy and the market, blamed the Soviet planned system in everything. In the zero we waited and believed in the state vertical and blamed the raw material economy. Today people are tired of waiting and they are tired of believing. It's time to take the initiative into your own hands.
Today, many people have ideas on how to correctly change, improve something. But realizing these ideas alone is often difficult. Our task is to unite such people and support them. Ensure interaction with power and business.
With this, we started. I gathered all my friends and acquaintances in Chernogolovka and threw a cry: "I don’t like something? What can I do? Offer solutions." And some say: "The quality of education has worsened at school, let's create a trusteeship for collecting extra -budgetary funds and we will pay our teachers a worthy salary." Today the advice is almost collected. Another says: "Let's move on to separate garbage collection and place containers for waste paper in the city." We find the buyers of waste paper and now we have such containers throughout the city. Or the same battered idea of parking spaces: the inhabitants were ready to pay to appear, but did not know where to return the money. Here we needed just an element of the organization.
That is, instead of freezing, they say, let the authorities do this, I cry for this for this, you can come to the club and try to solve the problem. It must be understood that the employees of the city administration cannot be aside for everything.
We are not an opposition and not pro -government movement. We try to conduct a dialogue with everyone. Any power is a complex partner. But negotiations are possible. It is necessary not to say that everything is bad, everyone is to blame, but to offer specific solutions.
- But is this not the same "theory of small deeds"?
- No, this is the ideology of specific affairs. From small to large. You will say that containers for waste paper in a small city are a trifle. Yes, but after each such trifle, confidence in their own abilities is growing, the support and trust of citizens is growing, our capabilities are growing. Today we put containers for collecting waste paper, a pedestrian path will be built tomorrow. And the day after tomorrow, for example, a world aircraft transport hub will be created at the Yekaterinburg airport in Koltsovo, through which 20 million passengers per year will fly, this is as much as this flies through Domodedovo airport today.
- And how will you build a hub in Yekaterinburg from Montenegrin? How is your club structured at all?
- The matrix structure is supposed. The communities will be organized by territorial and professional basis. We started with two: territorial - in Chernogolovka, and professional - aviation transport. Montenegrin is my hometown, and since childhood I have been in love with aviation, and I worked in this area for many years. The club’s activities are structured by projects. The project for the construction of a hub in Yekaterinburg is one of the projects of the Aviation Transport community. But this is the beginning - further the number of communities will only grow. The ultimate goal is to cover the whole country and the main industries.
- Are you called an idealist?
- This is no idealism, this is a calculation. I just understand that in order to develop life in this country, we must think for 20 years ahead and set us big tasks. A new social class should form - a class for development. I can be very scared from cynicism and indifference that we observe in our society. Everyone is necessary. It is necessary to stop putting up with the dominance of momentary interests, ineffectiveness, hourly missing capabilities. And do not look for self -interest here.
- How much time does the club take away from you?
- Almost everything.
- Do you live on what means? Do you have a permanent place of work?
- I worked as the director of the Department of Economics and Strategic Analysis in the United Aircraft Corporation. But from there I left in October last year to engage in the club. For life, I am now earned by freelance in strategic counseling.
- How old are you?
- 33 years.
- What do you think about winter and spring rallies? And did the stormy political winter and create your club accidentally coincided?
- coincided by accident - I have long planned to create a similar club. As for rallies, I did not go to winter rallies, although I supported the participants in the first actions. He supported because I understood their reasons and motives. But I would refrain from the assessments of the protest movement that is happening now. We decided to act differently for ourselves.
- How will you be your popularity? What are your political ambitions?
- I do not do it for the sake of political ambitions. This is my civic position.
- Maybe you are an altruist?
- I am a realist. Now we do not set us political goals. Now you need to unite people. The main thing is that people gain confidence that this is their country and they can really achieve changes. So that they did not want to leave, but wanted to live, work and raise their children here.
