The official dollar-ruble exchange rate, set by the Bank of Russia since June 5, 2012, increased by 30 kopecks. and amounted to 34.0395 rubles/dollar.

As of 12:15 Moscow time, the weighted average dollar exchange rate for tomorrow settlements was 33.9602 rubles/dollar, which is 17 kopecks. higher than the closing level of the previous trading day. The minimum dollar transactions are made at the level of 33.73 rubles/dollar, the maximum – 34.1499 rubles/dollar.

As of 12:15 Moscow time, the weighted average exchange rate of the euro for tomorrow settlements was 42.1856 rubles/euro, which is 44 kopecks. higher than the closing level of the previous trading day. Minimum transactions in euros are made at the level of 41.90 rubles/euro, maximum – 42.35 rubles/euro.

The cost of the Bank of Russia “basket” as of 12:15 Moscow time was 37.5284 rubles, which is 26 kopecks. higher than the closing level of the previous trading day.

As foreign exchange market analysts note, despite the serious drawdown in ruble quotations in May, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation will continue to pursue its monetary policy within the previously designated floating corridor - now it is 32.15-38.15 rubles. “As long as the currencies remain within the given boundaries of the bi-currency basket, the Central Bank is unlikely to significantly increase the volume of interventions, although in general this would support the position of the domestic currency,” stressed FIBO Group analyst Anna Bodrova.
