The court arrested three more suspects in the case of Bolotnaya

The Basmanny Court of Moscow on Saturday wore Stepan Zimin and Mikhail Kosenko on July 6, and until August 9, Denis Lutkevich, detained as part of the criminal investigation on the fact of mass riots during the events of May 6 in the Bolotnaya Square of the capital, was told by RAPSI agency in court. The investigator told the court that Zimin on May 6, from 16 to 22 hours, together with other not established and aggressively configured persons, deliberately, guided by someone’s calls, began to move beyond the limits of the place agreed for the event and applied physical violence in relation to the police officers. As a result of his actions, one of the employees received a closed fracture of the phalanx of the finger.

Zimin told the court that he was a fourth -year student at the RSU and has a loan for the apartment, which he, if in case of detention, will not be able to pay. Lawyers considered the measure in the form of detention of extremely harsh and asked the court to extend the time for the detention of Zimin up to 72 hours to collect the necessary documents or, in case of a decision today, to choose a preventive measure that is not related to imprisonment in relation to him.

As the investigator told the court, Kosenko on May 6, being near Bolotnaya Square, as part of a group of unidentified persons applied violence against an riot police officer, hitting him at least twice.

Kosenko told the court that the assertion of the beating of a law enforcement officer by him is not true. In addition, according to him, he is a disabled person of the second group in mental illness and often feels very bad, as a result of which he will not be able to be in custody. The detainee asked the court to appoint him a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. According to the lawyer, the attitude of the investigation to Kosenko is biased, including because the victim (riot police officer) reports that he does not remember and cannot indicate those who struck him.

In total, the number of detainees in this reached seven people. Earlier on Saturday, the Investigative Committee said that Denis Lutskievich was detained, born in 1992 and Yaroslav Belousov, born in 1971.

"According to the investigation, they are suspected of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 212 and Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the riots and the use of violence to a representative of the authorities). According to the investigation, Lutskievich and Belousov threw stones and pieces of asphalt, broke off the numbness to representatives Lutzkevich’s apartment, a laptop, a traumatic gun, as well as the clothes in which he was at a rally, was seized.

Earlier, the court placed under house arrest until July 6 the first detainee in the case - 18 -year -old Alexander Dukhanin. For the same time, Andrei Barabanov and Maxim Luzyanin were arrested. These three defendants were charged with articles on the riots and the use of violence against representatives of the authorities. Luzyanin fully pleaded guilty, drums partially.

As part of the investigation on June 1, the editorial office of the "faces" was seized by video materials. The decree on the production of recesses said that the video of the faces-TV "recorded the commission of violent persons" regarding police and military personnel of the internal troops (

According to the investigation, on May 6, on Bolotnaya Square and around it, "during the consistent rally, a number of its participants, grossly violating public order and rules for conducting mass events, ignoring the legal requirements of representatives of the authorities, called on the gathered riots, accompanied by violence and the provision of armed resistance to representatives of the authorities." As a result, the police and military personnel of the internal troops received bodily harm, the investigator’s decree said.

The prosecutor’s office and the Investigative Committee have not yet reacted to the requirements of the opposition to check the actions of the police on the Swamp for the exceeding official powers. The organizers of the Million Millions also demanded to initiate a criminal case against police chiefs and city officials on the fault of the rally. On Friday, 20 State Duma deputies sent a request to the Prosecutor General of Yuri Chaik for 27 episodes of the application of violence to the rally participants to the Bolotnaya from the police.
