A large accident occurred in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg on Saturday: a 24-year-old Petersburger on Red Mazda for no apparent reason “demolished” seven parked cars, Interfax reports.
According to the press service of the regional traffic police department, the incident occurred at about 14:00. "For Mazda, for an unidentified reason, a man rammed several parked cars near the house 145 on Obukhov defense Avenue," the agency’s interlocutor said.
In turn, a source in law enforcement agencies said that at least seven cars were damaged in an accident. "The circumstances of the accident are set, police are already working with the driver of Mazda," he said. According to the preliminary version, he was intoxicated.
Meanwhile, readers of the Fontanka.ru portal claim that even before the loud accident, Krasnaya Mazda “demolished” another car: leaving the street of Olga Bergholz, the car crashed into the side of the Obukhov defense Toyota Rav4.
“At first the sound of the brakes was heard, then a blow was heard. I watched from the window of house No. 95/2. After that, the driver of Mazda handed it back and intended to hide. A traffic police car was driving nearby, which began to pursue Mazda,” said an eyewitness.
