The case when the opinion of producers, critics and spectators would completely coincide can be considered almost exceptional, so Mikhail Radutsky, who has been called the favorite in the “Short Meter” contest for the second year, can be congratulated on a real victory.

There are only two films left in the Kinotavra contest - “I will be near” Pavel Ruminov and “This is with me what is happening” Victor Shamirov. But there are even more applicants for awards than the awards themselves - this is a terrible, to horror, the picture of Vasily Sigarev “Live”, and the film by Alexei Mizgirev “convoy”. From the point of view of the creators, these tapes end on a life -affirming note, and from the point of view of most viewers, after them you feel buried alive. Surely in the jury there are supporters of the film by Pavel Kostomarov and Alexander Rastorguev "I do not like you", in which young people who voluntarily agreed to a kind of exhibitionism, document their own lives with the help of a video camera. This is such a reality show for aesthetes. In the same list, almost over the past 10 years, the film about workers who decided to create an independent trade union at the plant, and about how a nightmare an attempt to struggle for rights and human dignity ended. The picture is called "for Marx", it was shot by Svetlana Baskova.

Among the applicants for the awards and the “ atonement” of Alexander Proshkin on the story of Fitridrich Gorenstein . The film is large, a large staged, as well as human culture. Perhaps the picture of Natalia Nazarova and Alexander Kasatkin "Daughter" will not bypass prizes. In any case, if the “Kinotavr” was awarded the prize of spectator sympathies, she could definitely claim her. And there are cinema almanes of Mikhail Sigal "Stories", in which the most serious and gloomy thoughts about the current state of Russian society are clothed in a parody, grotesque, easily assimilated form. By the way, almost everyone liked this film without exception.

The most interesting question is what the jury will do with the picture of Avdotya Smirnova "Kokoko". "Kinotavr" generally likes to award gloomy stories told by an unusual, peculiar cinema language. And in Kokoko there is no particular innovation, except for such a wonderful solution to the most difficult task-to remove the easy, truly ridiculous, albeit not in all the logical, but elegant comedy, without a drop of vulgarity, with two excellent acting works by Anna Mikhalkova and Yana Trojanova and amazing dialogs. The most important thing is a smart comedy. She about the relationship, one might say, ethnographers with an ethnic group, that is, intelligentsia with their people, equally adored and despised. Retelling the plot in this case would be very distant in relation to the authors of the film. Suffice it to say that the finale of this picture is unusual, smart and ridiculous. The auditorium of the Winter Theater of the city of Sochi was first crowded at this show, and at the end of the film, applied for applause.

Dunya Smirnova and her husband Anatoly Chubais seemed happy. For the first time in six days, sincere and broadly smiling people came out of the audience.

Whether the jury, this year, will come from the same directors, against the tradition, will it reward films that can return the audience, of course, with good advertising, to cinemas - it will become clear on the evening of June 10.
