The steepness is good in eggs - in politics, as in fault, standing is appreciated.
A raid on the opposition on the eve of Russia's Day is a demonstration of force, with the help of which the authorities intend to repay the power of demonstrations. Blessed, who believes.
The authorities slipped from scratch. With its actions, it prevents the marginalization of street protests, does not give them the opportunity to dry out. Among the “middle class”, discontent has long been matured by the “creeping revolution” and an understanding of the need to switch to a different level of political organization of the protest movement. By its actions, the authorities only warm up the universal interest in "petty political hooliganism."
Perhaps the purpose of the authorities is to drain the protest into “street unrest”, make the opposition wash his own helplessness, prevent the evolution of protest, its internal development? Then everything that happens is not like stupidity, but a well -planned provocation, spent on a thin calculation.
However, in this case, our power is sick with the original Russian disease - grief from the mind. With such actions, she can only delay the revolution for a while, but will not be able to stop it. The country will pay for this by the radicalization of the forms of the revolutionary movement. Russia runs the risk of surviving another marginal revolution, having received another project instead of “Perestroika 2.0” - “Bolshevism 2.0”.
By its actions, the authorities are knocked out of itself legitimacy. Since the end of the 18th century, when the constitutional movement arose (including in Russia), it was not what to formally complies with the rules approved by the authorities, but what is “legal”. From this moment, there is a problem of “legal” and “illegal” law.
The legal law is the law adopted in the prescribed manner and meets some universally recognized standards of “natural law”, which is currently enshrined in the system of international legal agreements, including those that are also formally recognized in Russia. Few people think about the fact that the basis of modern law and order lies the political consensus of elite.
If this consensus is - power is legitimate and has the right to defense, including the right to a rather strict suppression of demonstrations. If this consensus is not, then power is illegitimate, and then society has the “right to an uprising” against an illegitimate regime.
This is the right whether someone likes it or not, is the same constitutional law as all other political rights assigned to the constitutions.
Therefore, the current actions of the authorities, which seem to someone so reasonable and effective for “short historical positions”, are crazy from the point of view of long-term consequences. This is a kind of political and legal suicide. Summing up the legislative framework for the ban on demonstrations, it creates a legal framework to justify revolutions.
