German Kaplun, Alexander Morgulchik and Artem Inyutin, who left the RBC company in April, joined the management of the British company TMT Investments, which invests in Internet startups, on June 14. Kommersant reports this with reference to the businessmen themselves.

German Kaplun took the position of director of strategy for the company, Alexander Morgulchik will be in charge of business development, and Artem Inyutin will be in charge of investments. Morgulchik and Kaplun have collaborated with TMT Investments before and provided advice to the company.

In addition, German Kaplun and Alexander Morgulchik also own 17 percent of the company's shares, which they control in equal shares. The businessmen plan to approximately double their stake by buying out shares from other owners. Artem Inyutin is also negotiating the purchase of TMT shares.

TMT Investments was founded in 2010 and is engaged in investments in technology, media and telecommunications. The company's market value is estimated at approximately $36 million.

German Kaplun and Alexander Morgulchik founded RBC in 1993, and in 2010 sold a controlling stake in the company to Mikhail Prokhorov's Onexim foundation. In April 2012, German Kaplun was removed from the post of general director of the company, and as a sign of disagreement with the decision of RBC management, several of his colleagues left, including Alexander Morgulchik and Artem Inyutin, who held the position of general director of RBC Media. Among the reasons for the conflict between the founders of RBC and Onexim were the non-payment of a $46 million loan issued to the company and the issue of conducting an additional share issue. Onexim executive director Sergei Lavrukhin became the new general director of RBC.

German Kaplun, Alexander Morgulchik and the third founder of the company, Dmitry Belik, still own about 7 percent of RBC shares.
