The Constitutional Court of Egypt recognized the right of the former Minister of Defense of Egypt Ahmad Shafy to fight for the presidency, AP reports. The elections are scheduled for the next weekend. The opponent of the Shafy will be the leader of the Muslim Brothers Mohammed Morse.
Earlier, the court forbade former associates of ex-president of Egypt Hosni Mubarak to participate in the management of the country.
It is reported that the court annulled a third of the Islamic mandates in the Egypt parliament, since they were received contrary to the Constitution. Recall that then the Islamists received the majority.
