The head of the green/European Free Alliance faction in the European parliament of the German Rebecca Harms promises to conduct in Ukraine after Euro 2012 for corruption in preparation for the championship.

“After the euro, we will pay attention to corruption and how it was possible to build large stadiums in such a short time, for what kind of money, why it succeeded without tenders, whose private pockets went money, ” the Harms statement quoted at the Press Conference on Friday in Kiev.

“Such a big investigation will be after Euro 2012,” she added.

Harms also stated that it would insist on an order by the European Union of a check of documents regarding the "gas business" against the ex-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.

On June 13, deputies of the European Parliament Werner Schulz and Rebecca Harms arrived in Ukraine to visit the Holland-Germanian match in Kharkov and meet with the convicted ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko.

In Kharkov, Kharms and Schulz on June 13, during the execution of the anthem, deployed two posters before the match. On one it was written "Honest game in football and politics", and on the other - "Freedom to all political prisoners." The stewards took these posters from them, but returned after the game.
