On Thursday, June 14, a meeting was held in the Yaroslavl Regional Court, as a result of which the judicial panel overturned the decision of the Tutaevsky City Court of April 10, which ensured the victory of Andrei Minin in the elections. As a result, the opposition candidate for the post of head of the Tutaevsky district, nominated by the “Patriots of Russia” and supported by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was denied the claim.
Let us remind you that the decision of the Tutaevsky court was protested by Andrei Minin’s rival in the March elections - United Russia Sergei Levashov and the chairman of the Tutaevsky TEC Alexander Bem. Tutaevsky interdistrict prosecutor Nikolai Moiseev also opposed the satisfaction of Andrei Minin’s claims against the territorial commission.
At the end of the trial, Andrei Mini stated:
– I am shocked by this decision. Until today, I did not want to doubt the fairness of the court, but now I understand that the judicial system did not work from the point of view of protecting any rights and freedoms. Today I want to shout that there is no justice in our country. From a legal point of view, I do not understand the decision that was announced today. I was sure that the decision of the Tutaevsky court would remain unchanged. No evidence in favor of TIC and Levashov was presented in court.
Now Andrei Minin is waiting to receive a court decision in order to thoroughly familiarize himself with it.
At 17:00 on the same day, the previously announced rally “For honest power, against impostors!” took place in Tutaev, organized by the Tutaev branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Civil Action Headquarters. About three hundred Tutaevites and residents of the village of Fominskoye took part in the action. People expressed their bewilderment at the decision of the regional court, which essentially recognized as legal the decisions of the TEC on the recount of votes at nine polling stations and the cancellation of the voting results in the village. Fominskoye, which deprived 900 residents of the village of the right to vote.
As the Civil Action Headquarters told us: “the work to restore violated constitutional rights will continue, despite the fact that the “telephone law” turned out to be more important than justice. And this is a serious blow, first of all, to the trust of citizens in the electoral system and the authorities in general. Unfortunately, it is worth admitting that the elections in the Tutaevsky district have now been turned into a farce—a game of “thimbles.” While “wizards” sit on the territorial election commission, one can forget about fair elections. But this does not mean that one should give up. - civil activists believe, - today it is necessary for all sensible political forces, and simply active citizens, to consolidate. Local branches of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, A Just Russia, LDPR, Patriots of Russia will be able to come to an agreement, which means we will be able to clear the territorial commission of “bems”, “ "Shesterikovs", "kulakovs", "Savelyevs". Let's go separately - the "thimbles" will steal the victory."
