Much cooler than the Kholmanskys

Oh-oh, do I understand correctly that with a very high probability the information that Alexander Bosykh will head the commission on interethnic youth policy of the Russian Federation is not a rumor? I already wrote today that I remember Bosykh from the RKNK forum in Dombay, where he spent days playing knockout, various badminton players with Caucasian guys, behaved very peacefully and seemed happy to be in such company, while positioning himself as a notorious Russian nationalist. And in comparison with, say, Demushkin, who immediately after leaving the forum was photographed zigging against the backdrop of the mountains, Bosykh regularly set a real example of life-giving tolerance throughout the week. We didn’t communicate at all on the forum, so for me, my acquaintance with this person, in fact, ended then with a purely visual picture of Barefoot playing, after which he no longer entered my information field. Later (our days) there was a story in which Alexander Bosykh hit a girl with all his nationalist foolishness at a rally in defense of Pussy Riot, and I only realized today that we are talking about that same Bosykh. And today the truly culminating moment has come: a message appeared on the Internet about the appointment of Bosykh to the post of head of the commission on interethnic relations in youth policy, after which a cloud of information was revealed about what he is like (here I include tolerance, ethics, philanthropy and accuracy to the maximum), hmm, not the best candidate for such a position (for any other one either).

Moreover, continuing the theme of unsuitability, it is so not the best that if Bosykh is nevertheless appointed, it will be the most epic event that can overshadow even, say, the Kholmanskys’ entry into the post of plenipotentiary. Well, because a plenipotentiary representative is still a fictitious position to a certain extent, not requiring independent decisions, but working with young people, and even within the framework of complex interethnic relations, is, as it seems to me, a completely different matter. That is, it seems that in practice something may work out for Barefoot with interethnic relations, but what this comrade has on his mind, in rhetoric and, in fact, in his picture of the world is a question that raises very serious concerns. I’ll say more: it’s not that I wouldn’t trust this person to work with youth, I would fence him off from any opportunities to take initiative and occupy any leadership positions, so that the authorities, even purely theoretically, would not be able to turn this nationalist head and would not bring it to the realization that That’s it: it’s finally possible to kill prostitutes, homeless people, gypsies and Erofeev. In general, to be honest, I don’t believe that this appointment will take place, but Bosykh’s desire to help disperse peaceful demonstrations by non-peaceful methods, completely in tune with the proposals of the also unexpectedly appointed Igor Kholmanskikh, makes me doubt my own disbelief: the choice of Bosykh’s candidacy fits into the given the standard is more than complete.
