To Strasbourg. Appeal to supporters

On June 15, the Kirovsky District Court rejected our application to declare the so-called illegal. "election of the mayor of Astrakhan". The decision was made by judge Olga Morozova.

At the same time, during the trial the following violations of the law were established and proven:

Observers were deprived of the ability to control - 111 polling stations;

The marks on the ballots were not shown - 146 polling stations;

The marks on the ballots were not announced – 96 polling stations;

Ballots for different candidates were counted simultaneously by all members of the commission and it was impossible to see for whom how many votes were cast - 130 polling stations;

Ballots were counted as money is counted - by folding the corner, covering it with hands - 138 polling stations;

The commission did not at all announce at the polling station for whom Astrakhan residents voted - 142 polling stations.

In seven polling stations, ballots for the mayoral elections were not counted at all. Let's list them: 391, 454, 497, 500, 514, 523, 550.

That is, imagine, the commission at the polling station does not show your ballots to anyone, does not say for whom they were cast, does not report the results at the very end, drives observers away from the tables - and Judge Morozova came to the conclusion that it is possible to reveal the will of the voter without looking his mark on the ballot.

In our understanding, the court thus canceled the elections altogether.

What will be our tactics?

We are continuing all ongoing work. In Tsarist Russia there were no elections at all, but the people fought for their rights. And he won. Therefore, no one will fold their hands and give up.

In about 1.5 months we will have the right to file an application with the Strasbourg court. This time is necessary, since we must go through one more formal authority - the regional court. The case is high-profile, resonant, and there is every chance of a quick review. True, videos from Astrakhan polling stations in this case will be watched in Europe. And they will watch both the mayoral elections and the presidential elections. In 47 precincts, in violation of the law, votes were counted simultaneously. But these will no longer be our problems.

For example: in May, Alexei Navalny was arrested for 15 days, and now the case has been accepted for consideration in the European Court.
