11 cars loaded with coal derailed in the Jewish Autonomous Region, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Jewish Autonomous Region reported on Tuesday, June 19.
“The message about the derailment of the carriages of freight train No. 3408 at the Belgorodskoye station in the Smidovichsky district was received by the control panel of the regional Emergency Ministry on duty at 13.15 (06.15 Moscow time),” the department’s press service reported.
According to rescuers, all the cars were loaded with coal, and three cars overturned during the derailment.
One train worker was injured. There is no fire threat at this time.
