In the Moscow region, a mild sentence was sentenced to the killer officer, whose victim was his own mother. The court decided not to send the guard of order to bars, as the murdered person dreamed of euthanasia, and her son repented of his deed.

Orekhovo-Zuevsky City Court announced the sentence to a 23-year-old employee of the PPS, younger lieutenant Vladimir Korsakov. For the fulfillment of the last request of his mother, the policeman received 4 years in prison on their own to be ridiculed to be eliminated, reports Life News .

Judge Valentina Ostapenko held the city prosecutor, who asked for Vladimir Korsakov, taking into account all the circumstances, an unprecedentedly soft sentence.

“Today we were convinced that the normal judicial system in Russia exists,” lawyer Yevgeny Chernousov said after the end of the process. “A precedent was created when the judge gave the least sentence of punishment under such an article.”

As follows from the case file, the crime was committed on the night of November 11, 2011. The policeman twice tried to kill his mother to Lyudmila, who was diagnosed with breast cancer of the 4th stage. At first, the junior lieutenant strangled her with his bare hands, and then strangled her with a towel.

The last year of the victim’s life proceeded in endless torment, the newspaper “Moscow Komsomolets” wrote. Lyudmila was removed one breast, but the malignant tumor struck the lumbar spine, made his way into the spinal cord, and the drugs did not even relieve pain for a while.

Vladimir Korsakov as much as he could take care of his mother, hurrying home after work, but the woman thought only about death. At first, she asked her son to help her to leave, and after his refusal, she treated similar requests to a cousin, close friends and attending physician from the clinic.

Not finding support in her desire for euthanasia, Lyudmila committed several attempts by suicide. At first she was poisoned by pills to lower blood pressure. And later she tried to open her veins with a knife. The exhausted woman, weighing a little more than 40 kilograms, could not bring the plan to the end.

We add that after the murder of his mother, Vladimir Korsakov issued a confession and paternity for a three -year -old child, married a girl named Lyudmila. However, he still threatened the 15-year period of prison, since the examination came to the conclusion that the police officer acted meaningfully and was not in a state of affect. Accordingly, the deed to him fell under Article 105 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and not 107 (murder in a state of affect) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides only a three -year prison punishment.

The killer himself repented of his deed before the sentence. "I have already punished myself in all severity. If there was an opportunity to re -live that day, I would never repeat my act," said Vladimir Korsakov.

At the same time, the policeman believes that in exceptional cases, the law should allow the possibility of "death at will." But he does not count on changes for the better. "Russia is not the country where something will someday be done to legalize euthanasia," added Vladimir Korsakov.

Indeed, the Russian femid practically cannot pass sentences with conditional terms in similar cases. For example, in Karelia, a 74-year-old man who strangled a seriously ill 70-year-old spouse was sent by jail. The victim suffered from memory failures and was chained to bed. However, the court was harsh to a deep insulin -dependent old man, punishing him four years in a maximum security colony.

Meanwhile, in many countries a law has long been adopted, allowing euthanasia with a number of restrictions and exceptions. In Belgium, it has been operating for 10 years, and in the American state Oregon - 17 years. Euthanasia is allowed in Luxembourg and even in the post -Soviet space - in Azerbaijan.
