Bobrovsky sent to catch pucks in the worst Club of the NHL

“Philadelphia” exchanged Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky in Columbus, which became the worst NHL team according to the results of the 2011/12 season. This deal allowed the "pilots" to get three choice in the draft.

Last season, Ilya Bryzgalov and Bobrovsky made up the purely Russian tandem of the goalkeepers in Philadelphia, but the team, including because of the uncertain game of their goalkeepers, could not break further than the second circle of playoffs.

The Columbus gave for the 23-year-old Bobrovsky choice in the second round of the 2012 draft (under the serial number 45), as well as two choices in the fourth rounds: No. 177 on the 2012 draft and another, on the 2013 draft, Eurosport reports.

In the Columbus, Bobrovsky will compete for the position of the main goalkeeper with his same age as Steve Mason, who in 2009 was recognized as the best novice of the NHL, but since then he has not managed to find stability in the game for three seasons.
