Chavez and Putin discussed interaction in world oil markets

Russian President Vladimir Putin, on a visit to Israel, held a telephone conversation with Venezuela President Hugo Chavez.

According to Russian agencies with reference to Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, two presidents discussed cooperation in the field of energy, in particular, interaction in world oil markets.

The telephone conversation took place on the initiative of Hugo Chavez.
