Artemy Troitsky distributed “steppe wolf cubs” to the musicians

The annual Steppenwolf Award ceremony took place in Muzeon Park. This is an award established by Artemy Troitsky for his contribution to the musical arts over the year. This year it was the fifth anniversary.

The weather, as Artemy Troitsky promised at the press conference, was magnificent. True, the promised Ksenia Sobchak was not there, so he led the festive ceremony himself - in a top hat and a snow-white suit.

All performing musicians were winners in their categories.

Among the speakers, the PublicPost delegation especially noted the one who unexpectedly appeared in public in a new role - singer Igor Grigoriev (creator of the magazine "OM" - RR). Troitsky joked before Grigoriev’s speech: “This man is well known to those who survived after everything that the readers of the magazine “OM” used, and there are few of them.”

Together with Grigoriev, a huge orchestra of young guys fit on the small stage. They performed a melodic song, which ended in a very energetic way: to the roaring guitar and timpani beats, the young people put on black masks and began chanting: “Oh ***!” At the same time, the screen next to the stage showed footage of the police, riot police and scenes of clashes on Bolotnaya during the “March of Millions”.

Many of those present were eagerly awaiting the performance of Dolphin, who concluded the ceremony with his stunning performance.

I don’t want to bore you with a description of how fun the award was and how delicious Jägermeister was handed out in test tubes by charming girls. Therefore, let's move on to the winners of the Steppenwolf Award.

The St. Petersburg ensemble Ifwe, performing in the “Russian chillwave” genre, won the “Debut” nomination.

The site thankyou.ru , an online project that distributes creative content according to the “pay what you want” scheme, won in the “Resource” category.

The performance of Yuri Shevchuk and the group "DDT" with the program "Otherwise" was recognized as the best "Concert" . Shevchuk appeared on the Steppenwolf stage together with the new vocalist of DDT Alena Romanova. And after Troitsky presented Shevchuk with a memorable prize (a toy steppe wolf) made by Nikolai Kopeikin, Yuri sat down at the drum set and performed a short musical composition with Alena Romanova to the applause of the audience.

In the “Place” category, the most votes from experts surveyed by Troitsky were given to the “ China Town ” cafe, which opened not so long ago, in 2010, in the center of Moscow.

St. Petersburg singer Galya Chikis won the “Voice” nomination. Who also performed at the award after receiving the prize.

In the “Video” category, the winning prize went to Scofferlane with the video “I, awoke”.

In the mysterious “Something” category, the trio Oblomov-Sobchak-Parfenov won. Troitsky came out to announce the winner wearing the now famous knitted pink Pussy Riot balaclava. Of the trio, only Vasily Oblomov was present at the award, so he performed his song in splendid isolation, occasionally refreshing the lyrics in his memory - looking at the screen of his mobile phone.

The PublicPost delegation was especially looking forward to the announcement of the winner in the Internet category, since our web version of the White Album campaign was nominated among others. When the nominees were announced, the audience burst into applause and shouts of approval for only two projects - a tribute to "Aquarium" on Lenta.ru and the " White Album " campaign. It was very nice! However, we did not win. The project won by Lenta.ru and the Aquarium group . Thanks to everyone who voted for us and came this evening to support our website and the White Album project.

In the “Film” category, the film “ Shapiteau Show ” by Sergei Loban and Marina Potapova won. Troitsky especially noted that there were not many competitors this year.

In another unusual category, “Catalyst,” Vasily Shumov from the “Center” group won, despite the fact that Shumov’s competitors included such mastodons as Vladimir Putin! Shumov received a wolf cub for the “White Album” and in his speech thanked PublicPost for their help in implementing this musical event.

In the “Song” category, the “Red Banner Division named after my grandmother” won with the song “Astronauts”.

The album " Disappointment of the Year " by the Moscow group NRKTK won in the Design category.

The prize for “Best Album” (it was won by the group “DDT”, album “Otherwise”) was taken by Artemy Troitsky, because Yuri Shevchuk left Muzeon Park, he had an urgent meeting.

The rap team “Em Bird” won in the “Words” category.

In the "Music" category, the unconditional winner was Pavel Dodonov, guitarist and composer of the music on Dolphin's latest album " Essence ".

The award ceremony was held cheerfully and without any hiccups. We congratulate Steppenwolf on its anniversary and hope to see you again next year.
