Cardosia denies a return to NTV

The ex-director of the NTV PROME Broadcasting Nikolai Kartosia denied information about his return to NTV as an external manufacturer of the Central Television program, reports Slon.ru with reference to the words of Kartosia. He refused further comments on NTV, since, according to him, he now works in a “other place”. In June, Kartosia was headed by the Prof Media TV holding, which includes 2X2, MTV and TV3 television channels.

Recall that on Monday, July 2, the Izvestia newspaper published a statement by NTV CEO Vladimir Kulistikov, who announced the return of Kartosia to the channel. Former employees called Kulistikov’s statement “plum”.

On Monday morning, the chief editor of the Central Television program, Alexander Urzhanov, announced his departure with NTV. According to Urzhanov, Kulistikov cut his salary after Urzhanov called the NTV film “Anatomy of Protest” in his Facebook. Urzhanov noted that after his departure on the channel there will be not a single member from the team of Kartosia. In addition, Urzhanov complained about censorship on the television channel, which, according to him, "is carried out by calling Kulistikov."
