In the California Silicon Valley, a search for 20 innovators is declared younger than 20, which will be offered to 100 thousand dollars for the development of their projects, reports Mashable .
The grant program is launched by billionaire Peter Phil, which is one of the largest sponsors of Silicon Valley and the social network Facebook, as well as the creator of the PayPal payment system.
Any person younger than 20 years old will be able to get a grant from the investor who will be able to interest his original project. In total, 20 winners will be selected, called “new Steve Jobs and Tsuckerberg brands”, who will receive the necessary funds and will be able to realize their ambitions. One of the conditions of the competition is that the winners will have to leave the college.
The selection of the winners will take place live on the CNBC channel in a reality show called “20 to 20: Transforming tomorrow”, the first release of which will be held on July 11. Projects of young people will be discussed in a special sponsors room with such famous investors as Sean Parker and Elon Musk. “Innovation is always a risk,” Peter Phil explained. “Therefore, I hope that the show of the competition on the air will protect people from too sharp and risky steps in business.”
