Paraguay recalled his ambassador from Venezuela

Paraguay withdrew his ambassador from Venezuela and announced the diplomatic representative of Karakas by Persona Non Grata, reports AP with reference to the Paraguay Foreign Ministry. The Venezuelan ambassador to Asunsion left the country a week ago, so no one began to expel him by force.

Paraguay decided on this diplomatic step after the head of Venezuela Hugo Chavez and the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicholas Maduro tried to convince the military Paraguay to maintain loyalty to President Fernando Lugo , who was accused of incompetence after the death of 17 people as a result of a shootout between landless peasants and the police on June 15. Recall that after the displacement of the Lugo country of Latin America, the new Paraguayan government was never recognized. In particular, Chavez said that he would no longer supply Venezuelan oil to Paraguay, until the democratically elected Lugo would return to power.

After the impeachment of Lugo, the temporarily acting head of state was appointed Vice President Federico Franco until April 2013, when general elections were outlined in Paraguay.
