Participants in the II International Historical and Cultural Forum, events within which begin on Thursday, July 5, in Khakassia, will discuss issues of state protection of cultural heritage sites, and will also get acquainted with museums and other cultural sites of the republic, the press service of the regional Ministry of Culture reports.
The discussion of these issues will be attended by leaders and representatives of the Central Siberian and Baltic departments of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the president of the Siberian Association of Researchers of Prehistoric Art (SAIPI).
It is expected that during the work of the special section that will work at the forum, there will be a discussion of current problems of state protection, conservation, use and popularization of cultural heritage objects. In addition, the forum participants will discuss the development of theatrical activities, the formation of cultural and historical heritage and the image of the region.
