Muscovites can bow to the relics of the Orthodox patrons of lovers

Next Saturday, on the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, which is celebrated in Russia on July 8, to the Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in Pokrovsky -Strekhnev, located on the Volokolamsk highway, 52, the ark with the relics of the saints Peter and Fevronia - patrons of the family will be delivered.

The temple in Pokrovsky -Streshnev is one of the house temples of the Russian Orthodox University (RPU). The ark with the relics of the saints will be available here for veneration until the end of August, Igumen Peter (Yeremeyev) rector of the RPU, RPU RPU, told the Izvestia newspaper. Typically, the shrine is stored in the altar of one of the university temples in Moscow and is not exhibited for general worship.

Particles of the relics of the patrons of lovers are also stored in the Moscow temple of signs of the icon of the Mother of God behind the Petrine Gate under the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the capital and in the Church of the "Small Ascension" on Bolshaya Nikitskaya. In the Voznesensky temple, prayers regularly serve in front of the icon with relics, and also hold youth meetings for those who want to build an Orthodox family.
