The prosecutor's office of the Krasnodar region noted that the court found Gurov guilty of intentionally causing damage to property and harm to health of moderate severity, as well as illegal possession of drugs. In particular, it was established that on the night of August 25, 2010, at the direction of Tsapok, the defendant broke the windows in the Gourmet store, causing damage to its owner in the amount of more than 20 thousand rubles.

In addition, in September 2010, he broke the jaw of a car driver for hooligan reasons, as he did not want to give way to the vehicle. When detained after the murder of 12 people in November of the same year, Gurov was found with two and a half grams of heroin.

Previously, two gang members, Andrei Bykov and Vyacheslav Ryabtsev, were each sentenced to 20 years in prison. They, according to the investigation, did not take a direct part in the murder and made a deal with justice, testifying against the rest of their accomplices. Sergei Tsepovyaz, who knew members of the gang but was not part of it, was fined 150 thousand rubles for concealing a murder.

The Investigative Committee reported that in addition to the case of Evgeny Gurov, the cases of his brother Alexey (Bober Sr.) and Vyacheslav Skachedub (Malaya), who did not participate in the mass murder, were not part of the gang, but are accused of other crimes, were separated into separate proceedings. They also worked as security guards for Tsapkov's company.
