OJSC Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka (AMNGR) will pay compensation to the families of those killed during the collapse of the Kola jack-up rig in the Sea of Okhotsk , whose bodies were not found, Interfax reports.
“After passing judicial procedures to recognize the dead of company employees whose bodies were not found during the search and rescue operation, relatives will be able to apply for compensation from the social insurance fund. In the future, AMNGR OJSC will make compensation payments in accordance with the industry agreement minus the amounts , paid by the social insurance fund,” says a message posted on the website of the shipowner company on Tuesday, July 17.
At the same time, the families of deceased employees who are not entitled to receive payments under the industry agreement will be paid compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles. The company does not report compensation payments to the families of crew members who are not JSC employees.
