Day chess today!
This is such a wonderful occasion to recall the story from your childhood.
When I was about seven years old, dad taught me how to play chess. He showed how the figures go, how to “cut down” the enemy, capture him, play combinations, drive him in a corner, put a shah and mat. For my children's brain, it was so much revelation that I accompanied my loud roar with each defeat. For some reason, dad did not play with me-27-year-old guys are not characteristic-and tried to develop a worthy opponent in me.
... In the fifth grade, at a break to the group of schoolchildren, a large person came up - a physical education teacher Uncle Misha - and the bass asked: “Who knows how to play chess? !!!” My classmates fled like cockroaches in the world. And I replied: "I ...". Uncle Misha pulled her eyes to me (I was at that time sportingly not a greatly developed child, even put forward Pethetesi’s parents - they taught to read at 4 years old, and not to beat off the ball) and said: “That's it, you will play in the school team tomorrow.”
At home, I said nothing to anyone. Mom recalls: “The girl comes our tide darker than the clouds ... Lips are pouted ... In front of our eyes-tears ... Daughter, what happened?” "I lost !!!!" - And she went to sob in her room.
Parents for a long time hokh in the kitchen ... Then they came to me, and my mother said: “Well, what did you count on? You only know how the figures go ... ".
I lost four more parties. But she didn’t cry anymore. She studied. The last five parties won. Our team took third place in the area. And from the loud bass of Uncle Misha in physical education lessons, I no longer crouched - I had a guaranteed “five”.
After the championship, I went to study at a chess school, despite the great public burden - I was the chairman of the squad council and studied at a music school. In addition, understanding her inferiority in physical development, I signed up for a figure ski section.
Parents were in shock - dad worked as a surgeon in the clinic, and mom - a controller at the factory - paid a loan for my new piano. Through the Novosibirsk Rosposyltorg (remember this?) They bought me Czech figure skates “Botus”, and from the old school uniform my mother sewed my skirt for figure skating. There was no longer enough for winter shoes, so they bought “Burki” - cloth black boots with red embroidery.
Walking on the schedule - the figure - music - school - a chess school - I honestly went around all the ice slides in the nearest yards. As a result, my “Burki” very soon acquired a very unpretentious look. As it seemed to me. And when I came to a polled-polished chess school, I always hid my legs deep under the table. It seemed to me that the presentable bearded uncles who go and look there will laugh at me. And they always stood near me and grunted: "Wow ... what a move ... hmm ... hmm ...".
Then the uncles went at their polished tables, placed the figures and quickly moved them on the table, pressing the terrible white clock. And I thought - what if they would make me the same? How can you think ... quickly? How can you order a brain to think for a while?
At the next school tournament, I beat all my rivals. And the boys from my school too. We took an undeniable first place. See how happy in the photo
A boy with a cake to the right of me is Sergey Shubenkov. Clever. He went first to the 3rd school, then entered the MFT. Where he is now - I don't know. The fate of the rest is also unknown to me. The captain of the team (boy with a letter) was called Rushan. And the short boy on the right of the picture caused me white envy of the Komsomol badge when we tied up for Face Control at the school entrance with already shabby pioneer ties.
Fortunately, our coach (a pretty short -sighted shaggy guy Eugene ... Ivanovich ... Like ... I forgot - ashamed) - and I already attracted a classmate to the chess school (oh, she liked the varnished tables - “I have to, like culturally” - and she played well) - we did not eat us more in practice - we played with masters - we played with masters. by invalid.
At the same time, a girl (“Dull”) came to the chess school another. Director Mikhail Fishman himself began to deal with her. She sat for hours, frowning her forehead, over the tasks. We, waxworms, were incredibly boring. Evgenievich planted us to play with her periodically - we put her children's mat and went further to beat the bearded men.
I don’t know why we stopped going to a chess school. In the stream of children's memories - the coach Evgenich left, or something ... I remember, Fishman loaded me with the tasks ... with the book stood and placed the figures on the board ... It was unbearably bored ... Then my friend stopped going to classes ... I picked up a varnished table and looked at the book with the positions that had to be decided ...
... Once I met a chess girlfriend on the street, she: “I heard? Our “dull” girl won there ... on the grandmaster ... ”. Well done, what. "Duc you remember how stupid she was ?? !!". Well, how much she did! Not like we ...
... In 2006, the brother worked in South Africa, called: "What to bring you?" - "Chess!"
Brought:
A chic gift. Carved figures
And how dad taught me in childhood - an elephant, a tour ...
As the legend says, only blacks win in African chess. Not true. I win any.
And the strongest figure at the end of the game is a pawn. It can easily become an elephant, a tour, and even a cheetah - Fersem
Fans of computer games are unlikely to understand this. In the know that this also develops something there ... But, unfortunately, not that.
