Syrian generals deserted to Turkey

Two more Syrian generals from the Assad army fled to Turkey over the past day, reports Reuters .

The generals were part of a group of 10 people, consisting of colonels and other officers.

Thus, for 16 months of riots in Syria, 24 generals left the government army. More than 43 thousand Syrian refugees live in Turkey.

The free Syrian army and the radical group “Lebal al-Islam” took responsibility for the explosion.

Despite the continuing in the opposition in the country, Russia and China imposed a veto on the draft resolution, which involved the introduction of sanctions against Syria, up to armed intervention. Moscow and Beijing then rejected resolutions for the third time, which were designed to put pressure on Syria President Bashar al -Assad.
