Bogdan Stupka died

In Kyiv, an outstanding actor, former Minister of Culture of Ukraine Bogdan Stupka, died. As the UNIAN agency is universal with reference to the presidential adviser Anna German, Stupka died about six in the morning on Sunday. In August last year, he turned 70 years old.

The funeral will be held on July 24 at the Baykov cemetery in Kyiv. On behalf of President Viktor Yanukovych, the Minister of Culture Nikolai Azarov will be engaged in the organization of the funeral.

Stupka starred in more than 100 films, wore the titles of People's Artist of the USSR and Hero of Ukraine. His last noticeable works in the cinema was the roles in the films "Taras Bulba" and "House".
