Well, there was no way I could have missed this truly epoch-making event! And more than a thousand Vladivostok cyclists were of the same opinion.
In total I covered 44 km. I found out that from Ferry to Lugovaya it only takes 12 minutes! From Lugovaya to the bridge to Russky Island, very slowly - 25 minutes. In total, it was 12 km from the ferry to the bridge. Then 3 km along the bridge and 24 km to Podnozhye via Ajax and Ekipazhny, half the way on asphalt...
And the bike ride was certainly impressive. First of all, the number of participants!
There were so many of them. The media write that there are 1,500 cyclists, which in principle seems to be true.
4. An hour and a half before the start there were already at least 500 people, and people kept coming and coming. In my opinion, it is unlikely that anyone will be able to gather as many cyclists again in the foreseeable future.
5. I met many acquaintances, but I didn’t meet even more, because many got lost in the crowd. In the photo is Yura Chernoyarov.
6. On Churken, this guy joined our group. The guy turned out to be not simple. The same one who recently came from Khabarovsk and organized jumping here with a tourniquet on his legs and received serious persecution from our authorities for this. He says that the stupid article under Law 54 was removed, but now they are charging with illegal entrepreneurship.
7. I was pleased to have a diverse group of people
8. Grandfather is really a cunning man and added a little motor to his bike.
9. The girls from Prima pestered everyone with interviews.
10.The same Prima was handing out T-shirts. However, after driving in it for a couple of hours at +30, the pattern on the back disappeared somewhere. it was washed away later))
11.By the way, not everyone got to the starting point on their own.
12. Few people ignored this touching couple.
13. In general, there were enough children. I personally rode next to this couple. Why was I very worried about the child under the backpack?
14. There were also plenty of cute participants.
15.
16. Unfortunately, this bust was without a bicycle, but with a camera.
17.
18. The column actually stretched for several kilometers.
19.
20.
21.
22.
23.
24. Almost everyone turned around and went back to the continent.
25.Well, in splendid isolation I headed in the other direction. I passed right through Ajax, fortunately they let you in with registration without any problems.
26.Not all of the signs on the island had time to be updated.
27.And I met this car in the area of the 15th school.
28. The tow truck driver said that everyone was alive. By the way, the car is a city car.
And why drive like that on dirt roads?! Well, they don’t give a damn about pedestrians and cyclists, but they would feel sorry for themselves!
29. And already at the Foothills I saw a barge with participants in the race. It turns out that some broke through the cordon and drove across the Canal to the Foothills (yes! the guards didn’t allow entry to the Canal from the bridge either)
