Pussy Riot - will be imprisoned to please the crowd

I believe the girls will be jailed. Although not by much, the sentence will exceed the time already served.

It’s just that in my city, since 1993, the most numerous protests (except for December 10) were organized by Orthodox organizations: the parent committee, monarchists... Now they are in a frenzy, furious. They want punishment. And what kind of Putin would dare to let the girls go without giving the crowd someone in return?

If they are released, in many cities (certainly in mine) there will be queues that are not much inferior in mass to the queues for the Belt of the Virgin Mary. Up there, no one will play the risky game of “come on, take it away!” with such an unambiguously inclined crowd.
