Very subtle feelings

In recent days, the Russian blogosphere is a series of notes "from the courtroom." Nevertheless, observing the behavior of the judge and the prosecutor in the process over Pussy Riot, Columnist Lenta.ru Ivan Davydov doubted how to call the court that was happening and, most importantly, is there an objective necessity:

I stopped understanding why we have a court at all. Why are all these expensive performances - "preliminary meetings", "court hearings"? Whom the directors and authors see the audience of all these plays? The power of a person with a gun, that is, the only real power, is not called into question, otherwise we would not write columns now, but the diaries of the inhabitants of the flaming megacities. And it doesn’t matter at the same time, a person with a gun or is wrong is right. The point is not that it is right, but what can. It can take away, plant, cripple. And you are not. You will be crippled or put for this. There is the whole difference.

Accordingly, Russian citizens are not the target audience of law enforcement productions. There is a common opinion that the audience is not inside, but outside the country. But with the courts with all the courts - the process above Pussy Riot is the brightest certificate - there is a thing directly. From the fact that prosecutors depict the presence of an evidence base, and the judge is equal to the arguments of the parties, shame becomes no less. There is more shame, and shame becomes more, or something, convex. And then the question arises again - then why? Maybe saving time, means, nerves, stop already depicting the presence of an independent court in Russia? Inside, all, basically, do not care, and already bypass, no one believes on the outside.

As art for art - all this somehow does not look, very clumsy, basically, work. They would have been caught just like that, and they planted it. Well, or burned. In different senses, including literal.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev tried to disperse such thoughts, who recently announced in an interview with the British Times that in other countries the trial was no less severe, and it must be assumed, no less absurd. Thought is developed by the playwright and publicist Vladimir Kholyshev on the Open website:

When Medvedev says that in other countries the punishment could be more severe, he is certainly right. In Papua - New Guinea recently eaten several people for similar motives. The Taliban in Afghanistan, probably, would also be unhappy. I can’t say for sure about Iran. But in Turkey, the extremely causing action of the Ukrainian group Femen (its participants protested topless) at the main mosque in the country was not recognized at all by the crime. There is nothing to say about Europe and the USA! So by his statement, Medvedev clearly indicated the direction in which the country is moving. I think he should be praised for frankness.

His brilliant ending was the request of the press secretary of Romny addressed to reporters-we bring it in a softened form-"get out to hell." The author of the Blog The Daily Dish, Andrew Sullivan, considers this completion quite logical:

The numbers, however, are about the opposite: no matter how much Polish politicians support the American conservatives, the current US administration approve of 69 percent of the Poles-this is more than the entire time of the presidency of Bush Jr.. If we talk about Americans of Polish origin, then they will vote for the one who promises to fulfill their requirements. Among the signing petitions for the introduction of a visa -free regime between the United States and Poland there are many people with surnames, consisting mainly of the consonants, but Romny did not promise anything. Why? To enlist the support of Lech Valens, none of this is needed.

Britain, as she supposed, answered the visit of a US presidential candidate with jokes. Craig Brown composed several answers to the Daily Mail website to the questions of voters on behalf of Mitt Romny, plunging the word 'Disconcert' there - embarrassed, which Romny used, saying that he was "confused" by the degree of preparedness of London for the Olympic Games:

Dear Mitt, in which country would you advise you to spend your vacation? Lee Soyer, Texas.

Mitt replies: it is difficult to say what a vacation can turn out abroad, because - let's look in the eye - it is abroad that foreign countries are usually located, no one will argue with this. But something abroad, frankly, confuses. It is no secret that foreigners openly manage these countries. We all heard stories that people in China are forced to eat Chinese food, in Britain to wear pots, and in the desert - to ride camels. This cannot but alarm.
