 | Airborne Forces Day is the history of the family of troops of the Armed Forces of Russia. This is a glorious story of battles and operations on Khalkhin-Gol, on the fronts of the Soviet-Finnish and Great Patriotic War, in Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Chechnya. For me, the Airborne Forces Day - more than the holiday of a separate kind of troops. This is the day of my army youth, the day of male friendship and the first in the life of severe trials. Until now, I do not lose from the field of view of my friends in the landing - we correspond, with some I manage to see. And “our regiment” arrives: periodically I receive letters from those who served in 337 regiment of the 104 Guards Division of the Airborne Forces. We recall both serious everyday life and jokes, without which, of course, did not do. And the Airborne Forces for me is a large family that raised in me those qualities that were then useful in life, in work, in big politics.
Until now, of all posts and titles, I am most proud of the title of “Guard Senior Solder of the Airborne Forces”. Remember the wonderful film “Only the Old Men go to battle”? There is a scene there: one of the Zheltorotiki turns to the Titarenko Comrade Comrade Komesta, and he, demonstratively stroking the guards icon on the tunic, corrects him: “Guard Captain”. So my guards title is still more expensive than others.
So the Airborne Forces for me is forever. And today I congratulate on the holiday of all the brothers-prisoners-both those who served and those who serve. Glory to the Airborne Forces! No one but us! |
