On Thursday, the Kolchuginsky city court of the Vladimir region satisfied the petition for a high -profile case - on the parole of two children Anastasia Doronina, the woman’s lawyer Alexander Gofstein told RIA Novosti . For an accident in the Gus-Khrustalny, where two teenagers died, Doronin was sentenced in 2010 to the four years of the penal colony and compensation to the relatives of the dead in the amount of 2.5 million rubles.
This happened after the then Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said that, while in the Vladimir region, he talked with two women from the Gus - Khrustalny, who had his sons died. Those complained about the wires in the investigation of the case of an accident. Putin then assured that at his request, law enforcement agencies would deal with this case close, and expressed the hope that they would bring the case to court and a conviction. Immediately after this, Doronin was in prison.
For a woman who has a seriously ill daughter, Russian media and representatives of the public stood up. Former President Dmitry Medvedev, leaving his post, put only the resolution "agreed" to the petition of Udo Doronina, and did not manage to sign the official decree on her pardon.
Pavel Astakhov, the Commissioner for the Rights of the Child, became interested in the history of Doronina after the serious illness of her daughter Esenia became known - the girl had incorrectly formed a cerebellum, there are two cysts near him. The child walks poorly, says poorly, the girl has impaired coordination of movements, she lags behind in development from her peers. Astakhov took a petition for the pardon of Doronina to Moscow.
Thanks to this attention in the press in early May, a woman was released for several days to Moscow, where Esenia successfully performed the operation. The girl’s treatment was organized by the Chulpan Khamatova Foundation “Give Life”. The second operation is scheduled for September 2012.
Doronina's business
In the summer of 2008, the car of Anastasia Doronina collided with a motorcycle on which two teenagers were traveling. Both minors died. As the woman and witnesses of the accident said, the 17-year-old Maxim Staroverov and Nikita Shustrov were traveling on a motorcycle without rights, without helmets and violating the PPD, and as a result, they actually cut her car, finding themselves under the wheels.
The families of the dead teenagers had a different version of the events. So, the grandmother of one of the guys Tatyana Demidova put forward a version of the journalists that the husband was sitting at the day of the car on the day of the tragedy, the husband Doronina, an supposedly prominent businessman. And the wife, according to a pensioner, took the blame for herself, so that as a mother of young children to get a mitigation of the sentence. The woman claimed that Doronin’s connections in the Ministry of Internal Affairs allegedly allowed to withdraw important evidence from the scene of the accident.
In 2010, the Gus-Khrustalny City Court found the woman guilty of committing a crime under Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road that entailed death by negligence). Doronina was sentenced in the form of four years of colony-settlement, she also had to pay 2.4 million rubles in favor of the victims.
According to family members Anastasia Doronina, the investigation and the court were initially unable to prove her guilt, but the words of the former Prime Minister probably influenced the final decision.
In October 2011, when Doronina left a third of the sentence, she filed a motion for parole, but the court did not support him.
One of the reasons was called that the lawsuit in favor of the victims of 2.4 million rubles was then repaid in a small volume. Currently, according to Doronina, the lawsuit has been paid completely. The media wrote that an anonymous billionaire paid a significant amount on the claim.
