Every day there is an advertisement on the sports channel “Russia-2”: a little 2-year-old (or less) girl, looking straight into the camera and very strongly life-affirming and hysterical, jerking her fist down (as her uncles taught) shouts: “I have you zoyoto!!! "
The advertisement was made by Rosneft. At least that's what it says there.
And who is shouting so loudly in this advertisement?
Possible chain of associations:
1. A little girl who does not understand her cries at all due to her young age and should evoke an extreme degree of tenderness and patriotism according to the creators of the advertisement;
2. Rosneft company, chanting its goal (without any affection on our part, right?);
3. Most of the Russians who really want to get “gold” (and also more gold, right now and in their own hands, and not in anyone else’s).
4. Numerous other associations probably need not be voiced. For example, about politicians, about the authorities, about the “opposition”, ...
Like “grab! and more! and right now! and maybe get away quickly!”
Our people (and not only ours), especially each individual, as well as in a group, want exactly this. For many, this is the goal of life: “gold”.
Correct me if I'm wrong. I'll be glad.
On the other hand, the MAIN thing is to be no worse than others, close or distant neighbors, close or distant countries. This is the MAIN leitmotif of our actions at the moment.
Am I exaggerating anything?
It doesn’t matter that your cow died, but your neighbor’s two died!
It doesn’t matter how much “gold” (medals) we have. But the Americans and Chinese have... less!! (Unfortunately no).!
It doesn't matter how much gold I have. And the neighbor has less!!!
What a joy!
Goal achieved!
Right?
(Actually, this is the main meaning of competition).
From the third side:
Today there was a basketball match between Russia and Spain, in which the Russians miraculously snatched victory. We won! But at the last second one of our players was injured.
Two commentators introduced the game.
So:
Last second of the match:
- Hooray!!! We won!!!
- Hurray!!!...(small pause) ... One of our players is lying on the court and writhing in pain...((
- Yes. He must have been injured. ..But this is NOT IMPORTANT!!! Our team won!!! Hooray!!!
- Yes! We are great! WE WON!!!
Looks like this is from the same “I want gold/gold” series, right?
Or from some other similar “series”?
We will all go far with all this, probably.
Just...how far and where?
PS Maybe I'm wrong about something.
I would really like to believe in this, in my mistake.
Otherwise things will be very bad.
Well, this is from my point of view, of course.
