
Dozens of LGBT activists in Vietnam took part in the first gay parade in the history of this country.
They drove along the streets of Hanoi on motorcycles and bicycles decorated with flags and balloons of all the colors of the rainbow, the British television and broadcasting corporation of the Air Force reports.
Gay activists expressed the support of the country's communist government made last month that it was probably the time to legislatively consolidate the possibility of concluding same-sex marriages, Interfax notes.
Such changes will make Vietnam the first Asian country recognizing same -sex marriages.
