The Constitution according to Confucius, or Kabbalah in your hands

As part of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, a business lunch of Sberbank was held, during which its head German Gref spoke. In his monologue, he expressed fears that power might end up in the hands of citizens, and then launched into discussions about Kabbalah, Confucianism and Buddhism ( Source ).

German Gref became scared. It’s scary that power should be in the hands of the people. That people can understand the “foundation of their Self” and turn from a faceless controlled mass, unable to express themselves in relationships with the authorities, into a full-fledged subject of public legal relations.
It’s interesting: are such fears of Mr. Gref his personal phobia or an expression of the government’s general idea of ​​itself and its people? I can assume that most likely the latter...
As Oleg Antipov put it: “According to the Constitution, the people are the only bearers of power, which in practice only means that the people can choose what color and weight of the yoke they will allow to put on their necks and allow themselves to be bridled.”
But regarding Buddha, Confucius and Kabbalah - here, apparently, the head of the Central Bank could not restrain himself and gave vent to his feelings.
And here it should become scary for us. At least from the fact that such sentiments are declared openly, and at the highest level. While they are trying to feed us a mess of thoughts about the revival of Christian culture and morality, the longing for secret knowledge is becoming more and more apparent. This is understandable. The presence of something that is not given to everyone is a good argument for justifying the right to manipulate minds.
