Obama: US will help Spain lead the country out of the economic crisis

US President Barack Obama promised to support the efforts of the Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy to restore the Spanish economy. Obama noted that Spain was faced with serious difficulties against the backdrop of a debt crisis that covered the Eurozone country.

The American leader said this on Monday during a telephone conversation with Rakha. Obama also expressed concern that the economic crisis in Europe could affect the process of restoring the US economy.

On Friday, Rahoy turned to the European Union with a request to provide financial assistance to Spain to withdraw the country from the debt crisis. At the same time, he noted that at first he wants to get acquainted with the conditions for providing this assistance.
