Belarus calls the embassy in Sweden, offended by toy bears

The press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus emphasized that "it is not about the breakdown of diplomatic relations," Interfax notes. The Belarusian side assures that the measures taken are response and forced.

Meanwhile, last week, Minsk sent the Swedish ambassador, demanding that the country leave the other diplomats. It was in response to this, according to the Swedish side that it was decided to withdraw Belarusian representatives.

However, the Swedish side, having expelled two Belarusian diplomats, did not break relations with the Eastern European country: Belarus refused to send a new ambassador to Stockholm.

The investigation of the criminal case of the so -called “plush landing” is in full swing: the defendants to Anton Suripin, who posted a photo of the “plush landing” on the network, and Sergey Basharimov, from whom the Swedes were going to rent an apartment, have already been charged.
