Media: In Minsk, the KGB forced the owner of the cafe to erase the name "London"

In the center of Minsk, unknown people in civilian clothes, presumably KGB officers, forced the owner of the London cafe to paint over the inscription with its name, reports the Charter-97 with reference to the journalist Janin Melnikov.

It is reliably unknown whether this information is reliable, however, photographs appeared on the Internet in which a man really paints a tablet with a blue paint with the word "London".

In turn, the Belarusian Partisan publication suggests that the Chekists decided to take care of the mental health of the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who, as you know, did not let the Olympic games into the British capital.

It is still unknown whether the KGB officers demanded to change the name of the institution or limited themselves only to the inscription on the fence of a summer cafe.
